A Flevobike is a type of recumbent bicycle. It was originally developed in the Netherlands by Johan Vielink. What makes it unique is its pivot-steered design. Steering is done by shifting your weight and moving your legs.
Riding a Flevobike is a bit tricky to learn, but once you have mastered it, it is so much fun to ride hands-free and in a reclined position.
I don’t recall when I got my Flevo Racer, but the first pivot bumper spare part I bought dates back to July 2014.
